The Mini-Ptoon (Mini Power Pontoon) is primarily designed for small, remote, off grid electricity needs. It is ideal for camping along rivers and streams by bank anglers or remote use where there is not a big demand for electricity such as cabins or tents in camp grounds.
River Camp Site
For these applications, the Mini-Ptoon is designed to generate electricity from small water streams or rivers at least 1 meter deep and flowing better than .5 meters per second. The electricity can be 12V or 24V DC in three sizes: 100 Watts, 250 Watts and 500 Watts and is supplied with power conditioner and 20 meters electrical cord. The Mini-Ptoon can be easily anchored on the river or stream bottom with a standard nylon ski rope. The Mini-Ptoon light and compact and will easily fit on a roof rack or inside a ski boat. It is very simple to install: Just drop it into the river and plug the appliances in.
